The Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC), an Agency of the Government of Jamaica is dedicated to protecting the interests of consumers. A task that it accomplishes through its: Consumer Education Programmes Complaints Resolution Service Corporate Services and Affiliations. The CAC disseminates information about itself, its services and other pressing issues via the print & electronic media and through the use of new and emerging technologies.

Mission The Consumer Affairs Commission is dedicated to leading change in the Society towards a population of knowledgeable, vigilant, assertive and discriminating Consumers. Our mission is aimed at enlightening the Jamaican consumer through education so that he/she can cope in a changing global environment.
