Mystic Mountain St Ann's Parish JamaicaKnown as the garden parish on account of its natural beauty, St. Ann is located on the north coast of the island, in the county of Middlesex. Its coastline is fringed by picture-perfect beaches, while the interior features green, undulating hills and cool valleys. The resort town of Ocho Rios, has many hotels, villas and guest houses. St. Ann is believed to be the site of the earliest Taino settlement in Jamaica. The first Spanish settlement in Jamaica was also located in the parish at Sevilla la Nueva, now named Seville. An important bauxite mining area, the parish is the birth and resting place of international reggae icon, Bob Marley. Black activist, philosopher and national hero, the Rt.
